Gas Gauge Oddity
Unhooked the camper last night. 95% sure the truck ignition was off. Went for a road trip today and noticed the trailer icon was still under the gas gauge even after a few stops where the truck was turned off. Got back to the campground and with the truck running plugged the camper in and got the notice the a trailer was connected then unplugged the camper and got the notice a trailer was unplugged and the gas gauge returned to normal. Don’t recall anything stating the ignition needs to be on to recognize this, but then again, I haven’t gone over the 5000 page manual with a fine toothed comb either.
