ignition setups
I'm swapping a 97 351w into my 84 f150 and I'm trying to make it as electrically simple as possible. so obviously removing the efi and i was hoping to get rid of the ignition computer partly because the harness for my factory duraspark is falling apart. is there say a pertronix (or equivalent) kit that works for the late model or even for a duraspark distributor? or would i have to get a points distributor and then convert it after the fact? I'm considering an hei swap but it appear that the distributors are rather expensive on summit and I have a hard time trusting ebay. any advice or am I just making this unnecessarily complicated?
