Question Maximum tongue weight pounds for receiver hitch?

Is there a maximum tongue weight rating in pounds when using the 2" receiver hitch on my 2014 SC, 4wd, 6.2L ? Thanks.

Factory hitch ratings are 6,000 lbs trailer / 600 lbs tongue load conventional. 12,500 lbs trailer / 1,250 lbs weight distribution.

Should also have a load sticker on hitch receiver.

If you are asking what max weight you can add to your truck, that is listed in the drivers door (might be called carry capacity). If you are asking max weight you can put on the steel hitch, see post#2.

It was just for the replies and info. Question was for max weight to be put on the receiver hitch. The sticker on the oem receiver hitch is long gone.

Below is the sticker on my '03 F250.

Considering the rating stamped on the chrome bumper w/ball screwed into it is 5,000 lbs trailer / 500 lbs tongue load, the Ford hitch / receiver weight carrying ratings seem awfully conservative. Essentially, Ford saying anything over 6,000 lbs a WDH is recommended, not that it can't handle higher load without WDH.

Don't forget the rating on the ball mount hitch that slides into the receiver. My 2" hitch (5" adjustable drop/rise B&W tow & stow) I've been using has these ratings:
2" inch ball rated at 7,500 lbs trailer / 750 lbs tongue load
2-5/16" ball rated at 10,0000 lbs trailer / 1,000 lbs tongue load
