strange AC issue
I have a 2020 F250 lariat with the powerstroke. I bought it new in January of 2020, and the truck has been great the only issue was the CP4 went out last summer(covered by Ford). Truck has 77,000 miles on it now and the truck has a strange issue with the ac.
Here is the scenario. If the truck sits over the weekend when I get in the truck on Monday morning start it up and go to leave there will not be any cold air coming out of the vents. Whatever the outside air temp is what is coming out of the vents. Drive about a mile or two down the road and it starts blowing cold air.
Drove one of my cars to work the other day so the truck sat from 5pm to 5pm the next day and ran to the hardware store and it did it again. I took it to my mechanic and he is going to let it sit over the weekend so they can plug the computer in on Monday morning. He is wondering if TSB 22-2089 is the problem.
Does anyone have any ideas as to what is going on? I would rather the dash not have to come out.
