Hello everyone, I recently purchased the relay pack from Zachary Mcfarlin to swap the headlight switch from the 2000 headlight switch to a 2008 headlight switch, but it did not come with the schematics, and Zachary won't help me regarding this, was curious to see if someone here would happen to have the schematics, or can help me with wiring it up. Thanks.
On my 99 to 08 dash swap I used a 05-08 f150 headlight switch I believe it was. Fit right in where the favtory 08 259 headlight switch was. Then you don't need any relays or custom wiring. Just need the pigtails for the f150 switch to wire in.
Usually people doing dash swaps to newer dashes. Here is my 99 f250 interior that's been swapped to newer.
That makes more sense. Guess I don't hate the earlier dashboard enough to go through the effort/ electrical frustration needed to swap it. I have a 2010 F250 and a 2005 Excursion, I suppose the 2010 dash is nicer, but not enough IMHO to justify swapping it (now getting rid of the problematic 6.4 and 6.0 PSDs in favor of a better engine, that's another story, plenty enough reason in IMHO to justify swapping those out).

Sry to highjack your alls thread just wondering to the gentleman that swapped his dash im getting ready to do the same on my 00 superduty I bought an 05 f150 steering wheel do you know anything about wiring up the cruise control?

It can't be done unless you take the 150 cruise control switches apart and change the resistors in them to match what the 250 pcm needs to see to work the cruise. They both use different resistors so it's not just a matter of matching wires up.
Not bad. Actual dash assembly bolts right up for the most part. Just good bit of wiring. I used all the stuff from swaphelper.com and everything works like factory. Used 11+cluster with the lcd screen in it. It comes with diagrams for everything and what need to wire to what. Only way to do it in my opinion.
Yeah thats what I was gonna use I've got the complete interior out of an 08 and the gauge cluster out of a 16 just don't like the old steering wheel and really didn't want to change the whole column

I swapped the whole column. Used 08 column and 11+ steering wheel so it had all the buttons to control the cluster. All the buttons on the steering wheel work. Even hooked up all the radio buttons to the radio.
One of the nciest things I like about the whole interior swap is the touch to pass lane change thing on the turn signals like a newer truck. With the swap helper column helper it retains that. Just give it a quick touch and flashes turn signal 3 or 4 times for changing lanes on highway.
Dang I may have to add a column to my list now how long did it take you to do my truck is my daily driver lol just wondering how long its gonna be down

Well I did a ton of other stuff not just dash. I did axles steering saginaw power steering conversion. 100%nof the interiors was changed. Sound deadener everywhere in the cab. Front end swap. And bunch of other stuff at same time. I had it down for about 2 months but I have other vehicles to drive.
You can do it in a weekend if you have done your research and are very prepared and have everything you need. But I wouldn't reccomend rushing it. Take your time and make sure everything is correct and done right and will be a lot happier in the end. Test fit dash after you wire it all up and before you tape and tie everything back up so you can make sure everything works properly and you don't have some wires mixed up.
