dana 60 swap
i have a dana 60 that is a 3.73 tracklok 23 spline that is too low geared for the 472 caddy swap that i am doing the caddy motor runs its best with 2.73s to 3.55s with the 3.73s and 29 inch tires the 472 at 75 the rpms will be about 3350 i have a three speed brownie that has overdrive in it the overdrive is 50% but i dont have the money to put it in right now
any suggestions. i dont want to blow up the 472 it is hard to find the good ones 68 to 71 the other 472s are junk yes i shouldnt have to run at 75 but where i live if you go any slower on the interstate you will get run over by truck drivers doing 90 and there arent any side roads that go to ammarillo or albquerque i know im rambling again its one of my bad habits
