Rain keeps the grass growing @#$%^&* have to mow about every 3 days. Glad I never use fertilizer.

 

Good morning everyone! Welp, my poor old 2003 F150 has officially reached "not putting any more money into it" status. Found a stretch of the frame rail rusted through on the passenger side on the bottom and inside wall about a foot long or so. She's developed an exhaust leak some time ago too and found the culprit of that... cracked manifold on the passenger side. The gas tank rusted out so I can't put more than a half a tank in it either. Transmission is leaking and the rear shocks are shot. Running boards are about to fall off because of the rust, too. It ain't pretty. Guess she's on grass dumping duty now.

Good morning all, happy Hump Day! We need to dry out here at the site, it's a swamp. George, I'm in the 4 day mowing cycle. Yes, I'm a glutton for punishment, I fertilize. Looks like its finally going to start acting like May this coming weekend, 70's, then 80's next week!

Kenny, about time to put that old horse out to pasture!

 

2003 RIP
Pat, I was mowing yesterday evening until the mower deck belt broke. Now to find another while waiting for the grass to dry....

 

I mowed and trimmed yesterday, too. I haven't fertilized yet but will need to spray dandelions and thistles soon before they get out of hand. Never enough hours in the day!

Mower deck belt fixed and the 7 year old battery died. I'd take a nap but, a guy is coming soon to get one of the 86 F250 trucks I sold to him.

As I was typing the guy showed up, Truck on the trailer, strapped down and gone. Now to collapse while the mower battery is charging
