5k is what I payed for mine, that one has better paint, slightly better interior, and is newer with less miles. But there's quite a bit more rust there.

Take a look at it yourself, that rust looks a little worrisome to me. If you can determine the frame and body isn't rotted at all, and that it wasn't painted to mask any problems, 5k seems decent, try to negotiate lower if you decide to buy.

If you get a bad read on the seller, don't be afraid to say no. And take a good look at the engine.

Also I don't see the floor mats

I Recommend paying to run the vin if you haven't already.

It has a little bit of rust, but not too surprising considering it's a 30 year old trucks from the mid west. Price seems about right but be ready to do some maintenance on it if you buy it.

I live in the PNW, if there is no rot, that rust shouldn't be too much of an issue.

Mostly dirt

I'm not saying it's a terrible amount or rust, but definitely enough to be wary and take a closer look.

94 F 150

My 94 has been in Louisiana since new. It has surface rust on the frame but not 1 spot of rust on the body.
5k appears to be fair if it is as good as the pictures show.

It is all about where you live. Here in the Mid-Atlantic, there are 10 year old trucks with more rust than that.

Typical rot in the bed wheel well and the fenders. The frame looks like surface rust to me.

Tires trash. $1000 off the sales price as if you have a spare, I can assure you it is from 1995. Interior looks nice. Needs floor mats...to me that shows lack of care by seller. Frame looks like my TX gulf coast truck since new.

Spend cash for Carfax and Autocheck. Find out how long seller has owned and if any maintenance has been performed.

4.9, 5.0, or 5.8?

I guess I'm just picky when it comes to rust, and must have gotten lucky with mine, as it is very wet up here. Granted I don't know where it's been most of its 33 years, the sticker on the rear window says "Kansas City Assembly Plant" so I don't know if it lived there or up here most it's life.

Do they use salt and pretreat with brine solution on the left coast? That is what destroys the vehicles around here.

The assembly plant means nothing. There are only a couple places where pickups are made. All Broncos were made in Michigan.

Ah, I don't believe we use salt here, probably for that very reason.
