2012 F250 Tailgate Compatability

I have a 2012 Ford F250 Super Duty but crushed the tailgate and trying to replace as cheap as possible. I can pick up a 2012 F150 tailgate but I am not sure if it will fit. I can't figure it out online, does anyone know?

Would the 2012 F150 fit a 2016 F350 Super Duty or a 2010 Ford F350 Super Duty?

Any help on this would be appreciated. Thank you

No that year f150 is different.

08-16 250/350 is direct swap.

99-07 250/350 and 97-03 f150 will work if you change driver side hinge to the older style. Just be a older looking tailgate.

The info above is correct. I once heard a '99 F150 tailgate would fit a SD but I cannot confirm this and I don't see it anywhere, so I wouldn't trust that information.

They will. It says that in my comment above as well. A 97-03 f150 tailgate is identical to a 99-07 250 tailgate.

Seems like TreadAuto is just fishing for email and phone numbers. I was the second response on this thread. I received a private message asking me to please provide my email and phone number for shipping purposes. I responded with the requested information and then I got a private message two days later saying never mind they don't need me to review their product. Something about wanting social media reviews as opposed to forum reviews. Since they posted the request on a Ford truck forum that doesn't make much sense.
