The warranty PDF says Wear Items and then Brake pads/linings from normal wear and tear for 12-months/18,000 miles. Just like my leaking master cylinder and leaking front crank seal one dealer said "weeping" is not covered it has to be "leaking" one dealer might deny and another might say "No problem, well fix it." Even showing the service manager the definition of a leak he said no and changed his story to "It has to be a drip". I would think it should be covered since it isnt a brake pad/lining but you would have to find a competent dealer service department to do the right thing and replace it.

The crack looks like it was pushed out from inside. If it were a casting issue that would shown up in the machining. Might be machined to small on the inside or the hub it's on is to large and as the rotor was tighten on it wedged on the hub and busted out the rotor in two locations.
so no service that would require the tire to even be removed. I went and got a alignment yesterday and they said nothing to me and then went to a differnt shop for a tire rotation and thats when they told me about this problem. And i agree this has been this way for awhile with absolutely no indication of anything wrong and I've towed my 5th just recently like in the last month but nothing would have suggested there was this type of issue at all. Absolutely no off road as I use this as my truck for work as I travel for work and it's my everyday driver as well

Although this is strange and unusual, one of the reasons to perform visual inspections of the components while doing maintenance. Looks like it was brittle and came apart, that would take quite a bit of force to bust that through if it was a normal solid rotor.
At least it was caught.

So you haven't rotated the tires before this happened?

Were it me I would just buy a new rotor and put it on. Putting up with dealers to get a free rotor isn't worth my time on this earth.

It's a DRW. Rotating tires is kind of futile.

Try for a warranty claim, unless you have caster bushings or a leveling kit.

unfortunately I haven't gotten the chance to get it done until now. I know it should have been done before this but just wasn't able to unfortunately.
