Does any one know the size and length of the starter bolts for a 78 351m I got the engine gave to me and i'm trying to get it started to find out if it is any good or not and someone had taken the starter off and lost the bolts . thanks Dave

 

i need to know this too, my starter only has one bolt holding it in.

 

Both are 3/8"-16 (coarse) and I think the top one that goes through the bell housing into the starter is 1-1/2" long. The lower one should be 1" long.
