97 obs 7.3L powerstroke 4x4 automatic
Nobody can seem to figure out why my truck will just come out of gear until u pullover and come to complete stop put it in park then u can put it in drive and then it starts to hard shift through the gears until it just starts running smoothly and normal again but this happens 3x-4x a day!!! Help me out please

check engine light comes on and then randomly will disappear but when it stays on I take to diesel mechanic who gets usually 2-3 codes which I have written down on a paper in my truck, I will get those codes and post them tomorrow Monday April 15th,
