Went out a little while ago to get dinner, cranked truck up and drove off, about 30 seconds later my center screen went down, then re-initialized as if I had just started it with the Ford logo splash screen coming up, then the screen went back to normal.
At the same time a message popped up on the dash display, "Memory Recall Not Permitted While Driving"...
My truck did the same thing last week, only once. Then like yours the screen went back to normal. Wonder if an update went out that our 2022’s didn’t like.
That's the seat/steering/mirrors memory recall function from your stored values.
Oooookay... Still don't know...

I also remember now that the backup camera view also froze as I backed out of the driveway, just before the screen re-initialized.
This is from a 2017 Fusion manual. Only thing in the 2022 Super Duty manual is:
Almost as if your truck rebooted and thought you were messing with the memory seat buttons since you were driving. Did your seat move? Like the easy entry/exit kick in when the reboot happened? I’m guessing not since that would have been noticeable.

Something didn't load right in the software, so the truck essentially re-booted that portion of the truck - I've seen this on several vehicles in the past. The more complex vehicles get the more people are going to notice it.
Could it be a symptom of a larger problem? Yeah. Is it for sure? No real way to tell, and unless it starts to do it continuously, the dealer (or pretty much any repair shop) is going to say 'could not replicate' and send you on your way unless someone starts to drive it daily for a while.

Huh. Couple of days ago I started my truck and the startup screen was stuck with the Ford display and that's it. I waited a minute, press some buttons, no response so I turned the truck off turned it back on and the Ford display came back up the radio started playing but the screen was stuck on the Ford display for several seconds and then finally switch to the audio display
Yep, mine has done this 3 times in the last couple of weeks. I first notice that the backup camera is not activating when shifting into reverse, then screen goes blank and system reboots.
Well, since so many of us have had similar experiences at about the same time, it has to be Ford fiddling around with their systems, updates or whatever.
I'm going to stop worrying about it.
