Ordered and received some hood and tailgate letters from Ford Accessories.com. They look to be CNC cut with a straight edge, not beveled
like it appears the Tuffskinz or Putco letters have when viewing a closeup on their respective websites. Not pleased with them and may return them.
Does anybody have any experience with either the Putco or Tuffskinz letters.? I know they are pricy, but willing to pay for quality and good looks.
Have a Carbonized gray 2024 and thinking maybe matte black letters now. The Ford letters were Black Platinum and shiny.
@53ford I think I order my letters from Amazon but Ford Accessory letters. Matte black and seemed fine.
I like the look of the black on gray, instead of the chrome ones that I used on my gray. Besides, I ended up getting dirt under the ones I installed on the tailgate, and the chrome really shows it!
So, ordering the black ones... appreciate the photo!
@53ford These are flat black on carbonized gray like you said you wanted. I got these from an eBay store. I can’t recall the store info. I like them so far.
Let’s see the Black Trucks with tailgate letters.
I purchased a gloss black set in anticipation of my Rapid Red truck delivery. Well that didn’t work out as planned
Now I need inspiration for the tailgate on my Black Lariat with BAP.
Post those pics!
Quad Racer, That is the look I am favoring. You stated getting them from Ebay. Are those a stiff, multi layer, thicker letter like Tuffskinz or Putco,
or a thick precut vinyl decal like letter. Thanks, Don

they are pretty thin vinyl stickers. Not the thicker ones that some here have.
I bought the Putco directly from Putco, and from what you’re describing, and the box they came in, I think they’re the same ones you get from the dealer. Haven’t installed them yet, though.
