Tremor

Quick question, other than cosmetics, what is the differences or makes a SD a Tremor. I'm more interested with the suspension side. I know the front diff is a limited slip.

The suspension difference is fairly minor. Tremor uses a taller coil spring that gives about 1-1.5" of lift, and a taller block in the rear. As mentioned above, a thinner sway bar and "Tremor" labeled shocks complete the suspension pkg.

There’s better aftermarket limited slip or locking front differentials, shocks, tires and lifts than come on the Tremor. I prefer getting a non-Tremor and add my own aftermarket parts.

Shocks are different, the front sway bar is different, and springs front and rear are different. It has a limited-slip front difff along with the electronic locking rear diff. It has rock crawl mode and extended diff and transfer-case breathers. It has different steps/tree kickers or rock sliders or whatever you want to call them. It also comes with lower gears. It also comes with skid plates. All this is part of the Tremor package. Oh and I almost forgot the Tremor bed sticker.

Front yes, rear would depend on what you are comparing to. The rears arr not unique to the Tremor.

Thanks guys, all the info was helpful.
Reason I was asking, I was thinking of updating my current order to a Tremor as long as it didn't effect the build date.
But for what I'd be gaining vs what I'm looking for, I just don't think its worth the change.
Thanks again.

I have a Tremor. Would I go out and order one for my uses? No. But it was a leftover ‘23 sitting on the lot so I made the deal for it. I like the exterior appearance better than the F 350 XLT Premium that I traded. Would I spend money to turn a non Tremor into a Tremor? Also no. For me that money is better spent paring down loan principal.
The previous truck was more than capable, as I don’t off road. But the tech upgrades on the new truck are impressive to me. More features than any previous XLT that I’ve owned. And that’s been several.
Consider your purposes for a truck and spend as you see fit from there. Beware of advice from the forum. Some folks love to spend the other guy’s money. 😁💰
