thump or quick hesitation while going uphil
I have a 95 Ford ranger supercab 3.0 liter. It has approximately 110,000 miles.
A few times while going uphill at 65mph I noticed a thump or a slight hesitation that would last 1 or 2 seconds. At first I suspected it was bump in the road, but it wasn't. Usually I feel it once, maybe twice. But yesterday it happened atleast 3 times within 90 seconds. It's starting to cause me some concern. Does anyone know what this might be. If so, is it something that needs to be taken care of right away? Will it cause something to fail? I pull a boat once in a while and I'd hate to lose control of my truck. Thanks in advance.
