So I don’t know if I’m just slow or what but I’m trying to change the brakes on my truck and I jacked up my truck took the lug nuts off the wheel and my rim and tire won’t come off, I’m not sure if it’s because of the locking hub on it but the wheel won’t come off. Thank you in advance
truck is a 1989 ford f250 7.5L 4 wheel
Take a hammer and hit the back. There can be corrosion on the back of the wheel and they'll stick like that. Don't be afraid to hit it hard but hit the tire and not the rim.
Do you have aluminum rims? It is not at all uncommon for the dis similar metals to bind together. Regardless about all you can do is kick like on the rubber of the tire and try to dislodge the tire rim assembly from the drum if you are sure there are no bolts holding them together.
Thank you guys for ur help, I was trying to hit it with a hammer and it still wasn’t budging so I took a bottle of brake cleaner and sprayed it all over where the lug nuts were and took a bigger hammer to the tire and it came loose and I got my caliper changed, thank you guys👍

careful using brake clean on a painted wheel or a chrome/alloy/aluminum wheel , im not sure if it did anything to help you as much as it cleaned your studs a tiny bit, but at least you got it
You have a steel wheel with the eight tabs sticking to the hub very tight
I use the back of a splitting maul
Be careful not to damage the wheel or knock off ant wheel weights
Once you have it off, you can sand down those tabs a little

This the only thing I would have added

That will keep the wheel and tire from flying off the hub when it does break free.
