Trans whining

So last night I drove my truck for the 1st time after dark ( i'm old and dont get out much) My wife and son were with me. Driving through my subdivision I was going 25mph. 4th and 5th gear were whining a bit. There was a fire in the neighborhood and we drove to see what was going on. The whining was loud enough that my wife said " there's more firetrucks coming"
Is it normal for the 10spd to whine at low mph in 4th & 5th?
Honestly for me it wasn't loud as I know what I'm driving. Just asking.
I'm getting mods for my truck and if its a lemon I wanna know so I can stop spending
Meanwhile I scaled in at the dump Fri with my 2015 6.2 at 17k lbs. Truck hauled like a champ even at 180k miles. I love that truck

I sum up my trucks like women
2015 is my reliable go to. Dependable yet worn. Trusting , loose steering , creaking suspension
2024 is like a young girlfriend . Full of drama, With tight steering and suspension

I believe that whining sound is normal; my '23 F250 does it as well. I read somewhere here that it has something to do with the square cut gears. It shifts and runs great at 11k.

I get the simple part but I really don't miss those days. I think the reality of it would be a shock to all of us.

Mine 2020 10-speed whines noticeably also. I has since day one and I have about 40K miles on it now and no difference. I don't ever hear it inside, just at lower speeds at certain RPMs when the windows are down, usually when I'm driving slowly down my street or cruising through a parking lot. I had it looked at early on. I was told it was the transmission pump gears but was not mechanically an issue. At first it bugged me, now I don't really notice it.

I haven't noticed any tranny whine, but my electric steering definitely whines. It's very noticeable inside the cab.

now if the "rumble' gets fixed I'll be happy
Happens between 38& 50 MPH the most
48 mph in 7th really does it

Not one single truck I've owned ever had a whining sound even over 200k miles on them.

Have you checked fluid level in the transmission?
