MAC Intake and Engine lite
In Oct I installed an aftermarket MAC intake, includes air filter and intake up to the throttle body. 2 weeks ago the engine lite comes on and the Ford Service guy says it was a rich condition but nothing was wrong with it AND he made a point to tell me they don't get paid under warrenty unless there is something wrong. Also he mentioned the intake could be a problem. And on i went, again today the engine lite is on. I am afraid to take it in only have the service guy tell me its the intake rather than something else. Comments? Suggestions? I don't think i can reset the engine lite myself and it will probably stay on until reset.

It may be a pain in the neck but what about taking the MAC off and putting the original intake back on and if the light is still on or comes back on they cannot argue with you about it being under warranty.
