speciality point setting gauges
Some time ago, actually years. I saw a set of point setting gauges in a parts cat and dcannot remember where. They worked by sliding fown over the dist shaft and held the points at the proper settings without using blade feeler gauges. their advertizement said " never have a problem setting points again. Does anyone else remember these tools. they were in fact cylindrical.

I remember but can't recall exactly how they worked. I always preferred to use a drell meter instead anyway.
When you start talking points now I bet lots of guys can't relate because breakerless is so preferential.
