Trans. Gauge

I do not know were to post this question so I put it on this forum. I want to add a trans. gauge to my truck. and then change my trans. valve body. This way I can see if the temp. chanced after the mod. plus I pull a 7000lb. trailer. Can someone tell me if they did it. And how with what parts?

I have done this by welding a fitting to the side of the pan. Just pick the location that will be in the clear.

Are you wanting to do this to an E40D? If so there is a Port Plug on the Drivers side That a Sender will screw right into Takes about 3 minutes to install.

I found it thank you!!! I think the trand pan is made with an alum. and steel, this is not something that I want to weld unless it is my last resort.
