Fender Flare for Dually Front

Anyone done anything to protect that front aluminum wheel well on their dually from rock chips?

I live on gravel, and have a 2024 350 DRW that just came in. Looking for something minimal, kinda like the oem tremor flare or similar to keep from chipping. Seems like I saw some from Rough Country that looked about the right size too.

Going to keep the factory 17" wheels, but might go to a 255/80 or 255/85...

Any opinions or ideas throw them out.

Thanks

I agree….they would look the best if they are a direct bolt on.

There are thicker versions of the paint protection film that can handle more abuse.

I think 450 flares would look funny on a 350. The track width isn't wide enough. A SRW OE style flare would look best IMO.

This would be my first thing to try. It would offer good protection, and wouldn't look like an attempt to hide an issue, like so many aftermarket flares do.

With the stock tire size, I don't have any issue with paint chips on the front? I do have Ford front mudflaps and running boards though. If I thought I needed more than that, I'd go with PPF.
