Depreciation can be the biggest expense of vehicle ownership.

 

My apologies but anyone buying any vehicle thinking its an "investment" in common terminology is at best deluded. While one type, brand or model may do okay with a resale value but they all lose value over time. While some have attained "classic" status or become collectible very, very few gain momentary appreciation.

To me all vehicles are purchases and never thought of as "investments".
