I like the feature ford did to check trailer lights. But, it starts when you hit the button. By the time I get back to the trailer it’s half done. Ford needs to add a delay to give one time to walk back to the trailer.

 

Stand there a bit. It will repeat a couple times

 

Turn on my lites and 4 way flashers. Still on after I walk all the way around. Works every time as opposed to the fancy feature you are describing. But I do have to turn one switch and push 1 button.

 

Like LMB stated it cycles through the sequence probably 5 times. Wait for it.
