1973 F600
F60DCR67458
It an old farm truck with a Freuhauf lift bed. Looks to be all original and unmolested. 74k + mikes on it.
I'll try to post some pics. I'm such a friggin luddite, so bear with me...
Your truck is a 1973 model.
F60 = F600 gas, 4x2 (See below)
D = 330 2V HD FT gas V8
C = Ontario Truck Plant
R67458 = 1973 numerical series, April 1973 production
If the warranty tag is still on the driver door and the VIN matches the above, we can decode more.
Your truck has ten lug wheels. An F600 of this vintage would still have the six lug wheels.
Ten lug wheels appeared on 800 and above trucks.
You should check the passenger side frame rail near the alternator, back to under the cab, for the VIN for the chassis.
Of course someone could have just swapped axles too, but swapping cabs or cab parts is more common.
It is a classic farm truck that has remained unmolested or fabricated on. Still has the original window washer BAG that holds the fluids in which you have to manually foot pump on the floor.
It's worst draw back at the moment is an exhaust leak.
Removed the pipes from the manifold resealed them and still there is a leak. Unfortunately I now suspect the exhaust manifold itself.
