Has anyone installed the US Mags Indy U101 15x8 wheels on a half ton truck? Us Mags says they will not fit but they say they will fit a 78 Bronco. I want a set for my 77 F150 so it will kind of look like the one I had in 1976.
If they fit a Bronco, I don't see/understand why they won't fit an F150 since a Bronco has the same running gear and by that I m not talking about the suspension but lugnut pattern is unless I'm missing something.
Could the center hole be different between the 2 trucks being 4x2 and 4x4?
The wheels that were on my 81 F100 parts truck (small car pattern) did not fit because too small center hole but I just needed the truck to roll to get it on the trailer and home.
8 years later I try and fit them to a non-Ford car, also small bolt pattern, and the center also did not fit it.
Could the rotor or front drum on the 4x2 be too large to fit the wheel but the rear be ok?

I purchased the 8" wide version of the Indy U101 (#U10115808540) for my '74 F-100 4x4. My truck is still in pieces at the moment, but I checked and the rims mounted up just fine.
Fitment should be the same for ford trucks & bronco 1966-1996, 2 & 4wd. Attached are the specs for the 5x5.5 bolt pattern and photos of them on trucks from the internet (not mine.)
I don't know if it plays into it or not ... but I find a lot of people believe hub centric is the only acceptable way. Since before I bought it in 1986, my '77 has had lug centric wheels with a 4" center holes that centered by the lugs ... but my spare that was under the gas tank then is a plain steel wheel with a smaller 3-7/16" hub hole and was hub centric as it hugs the hub. I've had cars and other trucks that used lug centric mounting.
So, US Mags answered my email. They say the wheels don't fit due to the max load of the wheels. 1600lbs each Therefore I will be buying them. Thanks ya'll.
