Bought a 2023 platinum a couple months ago. I really like the 5.0l.

When I fill up the tank has 6 gallons still in it when the Guage reads empty ( 36 gallon tank).
Any way to correct this and get it reading more accurately?

Not really. The idea is to get you to a gas station before you run dry.

FWIW, my ‘03 points at empty with 4 gallons left. I think my ‘08 was about the same.

I did a search on one of the other forums and it appears that it varies from truck to truck. People were reporting anywhere from less than one to 4, 5 and 6 gallons of reserve. That 36 gallon truck has a pretty big surface area looking at length and width of the tank so it probably doesn't take much variation in depth of the float to account for the big variation.
