Not ideling down?

Whenever I slow down and its in second gear, it will idle between 900 and 1000 rpm and hang there. It's like the cruise control is on. It will do that until I brake, No codes or other bs. Has anyone heard of this?

It hasn't been back to a Ford dealer since I purchased it, so maybe it's got separation anxiety?

The speed that you are going in second gear is not a speed that you think should be spinning the engine at 900-1000 rpm? You must be going fast enough to not have it down shift to first. I'm also a little confused when you say it idles at 900-1000 but you are slowing down in second. When I think idle I think of the vehicle being stationary.

You are wright, I used the wrong choice of words. In stead of idling, the rpm will remain between 900 to 1100 until I brake.
