I'm hoping I can use my engine hoist but I was hoping someone knew the weight before I tried.
depending on the rating for the hoist it should be fine. Just take it slow it’ll be unwieldy, likely much bigger than your hoist. Try and lift from a center point if possible.
Engine hoist and a helper should work. When I lifted my cab it would have been nice to have someone to help steady it when I rolled it around.
I've used my engine hoist to remove my 53-56 cabs several times. But I'm thinking the bed is heavier and even more awkward. That's why I am trying to get a bed weight.
Quick Google showed 4xx lbs. not the same make and year as yours. Removing tailgate would save weight, but also change balance. A strap through each corner stake pocket, and a load leveler would make it manageable, I believe.

Thanks, 4 people can lift it so I figured under 500 lbs but I wanted to be sure before I tried using my engine cherry picker.
