I've read through many many posts today about the Fuel Pump fuse #27 issues. Mine 20a fuse burned up about a year ago. My truck would not start. It would just turn over but not start. I found through research it could be the #27 fuse. I replaced the fuse. Everything seemed good.
Sometime later, after replacing the fuse, my Battery light has started coming on every time I start my truck. Does anyone know if the in the TSB - 15-0137, if the MIL (malfunction indicating light) mentioned in the TSB could be my battery light?
After replacing the 20amp slot #27 fuse, I have not had any starting issues with the truck.

Thanks everyone,

As long as the light goes off when the truck starts, it's normal.
After about 20 seconds after the truck starts, the BIG BATTERY LIGHT comes on and stays until the OK button is kit. Then the small red battery light comes back on and stays.
This happens every time the truck is started. Has been ongoing for about a year.

The circuit that monitors alt output has failed. The alt may still be charging.
I'm going out on a limb to ask, but the Fuse 27 TSB did not say to replace the fuse. It said to relocate the fuse. Did you do that?
A year or so ago when I discovered the fuse was my problem, I did not know about the TSB. I only found suggestions to check and replace fuse if necessary.
