Moderators... Have you ever considered adding a "Dislike" button to complement the "Like" button at the bottom of each post?
It would be interesting to see the "dislike" responses by readers to; inane, off topic, hijacked or just plain mean spirited posts, to threads.
Just a thought...........
What purpose would that have other than get more fights?
As an observation. You have only made one like so why would a dislike interest you? It does not seem important for you to take time to like other's post but jump in and want to dislike?

how many dislikes gets one a citation, and how many citations gets one a disadulation?

Scoial media has made people too eager to upvote/downvote strangers
Great observation that OP seldom gives out likes despite others giving him plenty of positive feedback.
Typical for this day and age. Social media has falsely led everyone to believe their opinion actually matters. In real life, no one give a **** if you like or dislike anything they do/don’t do. Especially if it’s regarding their own truck, ya know, since that’s why were all here.

I'm mostly here to watch certain 4.30 gas owners smugly claiming supremacy over non-4.30 owners, only to turn around and get mocked by diesel owners. It is a most fascinating phenomenon that never gets old.

I joined to learn about Fords. I only learned I am a freak of nature. 4:30 gear, 6.8L in a 2wd DRW. Oh yea and I run high test. Everything about my Ford is wrong according to 90% of the Ford forum. I love it too.

Can we hang one on this thread???
Just what we need, a negativity tag...not...
Don't like a thread or post?
Don't read it anymore.
An ignore button for user and threads would be better than a hate button. Something like an ignore on a thread is forever. A user ignore is 7 days for first ignore, 14 days for second. 30 for 3rd and on 4th ignore the user is ignored forever. With that on your dashboard it will list all that have ignore you.
I do not think the moderators do programming. I have never seen mods have access to code or settings, they may have a direct line to the main geek but I would bet a 4:30 to a 3:73 the mods here do not have that ability to get into the code to add a button.
It sounds easy to add a button but it can take a team of programmers to add a feature.
I don’t come here for entertainment. I think the like button should be changed to useful. So many folks that respond with needless bloviating comments lots over the same subject like clockwork. Just ignore them. It’s what I do in public if I find myself stuck with that type of person. Turn around and walk away.
Many years ago I belonged to a forum where they had what they called a "smite". Kind of the same as a dislike. Served no real purpose other than letting someone know that another person didn't care for the post. I believe that they were also anonymous to avoid arguments.
