Since you work around these new 6.0 all day. If you were to buy a new one would you buy now or wait for a while! I ask because I am ready to get one but I am in no hurry! is there any reason to wait for a few months or are the new production psd ok now? thanks for your help bro!

Thanks for askin, I would probably wait until early to mid 2nd quarter '04, trucks are now 100% better than they were 6 mos. ago but still too many unresolved issues.

That's some of the straightest PSD talk I've seen here.

Thanks emtabmm!

I too have one of those March 03's. I would put it up against anything in its class, until I got the October flash. But just the same, it is still a pretty darn good truck and will out perform most.

Oh boy! I appreciate the candid and forthcoming info. I've ordered a '04 PSD to be built the week of 12/08, with delivery scheduled here in the southland around 12/22. I haven't put a deposit on it yet. And, I am no hurry. My (soon to be history) '01 Chevy will handle the need until whenever.

You honest advice? Take delivery next month, or wait until 2Q04?

Thanks

Maybe you will get lucky and they will drop it off the transport!!! LOL I would not be too worried about it. The truck should be fine. Especially if you ordered it the way you want it.

WAITING FOR '05 PSD'S TO COME OUT. HOPE THEY DON'T CHANGE THE BODY MUCH. I'M SURE THE BUGS WILL BE WORKED OUT, ALSO BY THEN. HAVE A GREAT '01 PSD NOW WITH THE 7.3 IN IT. IT IS A "HORSE".
