I am facing a career change and am considering trying to start a towtruck business. I am thinking about investing in one of those 5th wheel type flatbed haulers that can be towed behind my F350.
There is a company out here in Phoenix that will (I think)subcontract with you if you are willing to make the investment in the equipment. I was towed by a guy a few years back who did such a thing.
My current business might go under so I am scrambling to find a new way to generate an income. This seems like a good idea in that I can invest the $15,000 or so I need to get the truck set up and I could potentially work as much as I needed to generate a pretty good income.
I will come work for anyone with a towing business, complete with class A... I would love to do that... It doesn't matter where, I will buy a trailer and come work...
