Trailer brake controller

I have a 2019 F350 and I noticed the other my trailer brake controller will increase gain but will not decrease the gain. Anyone experience this before?

You mean you can punch the + button and make it go up, but the - button doesn't make it go down?

Never seen that one before.

Neither have I. I’m assuming the controller is bad but wanted to see if anyone else ran into this problem before I spent $300 for a new one

Maybe just the controller switch.
