Help
help. I've had a misfire since i got the truck. Replaced vss, numerous parts. Today I started it and it ran rough. Spitting smoke of different colors. I can't tell if it's blue or white but the occasional black puff comes out. This time when I started it again today about 5 minutes ago, the fuel pump is running constantly with key on. Running really rough. Shut off completely with clicking noises coming from under the hood.

Constantly running fuel pump is a sign of a failed ECU. Try to pull engine codes and see if thats possible. If you can't pull the codes, that's definitely a sign of a failed ecu. Start looking for a replacement ECU.
Yyou can remove the computer and open up the lid to look for leaking capacitors. That's the most common failure. Luckily, it's repairable most of the time.
