1990 bronco problems
I have a 1990 351w fullsize bronco and It keeps make a vibration Usualy when I accelerate and I have changed all the u-joints and it still does this. I pretty sure it the rear driveshaft because I drove the truck around for five days and didnt do it with the the rear drive shaft out and it started as soon as I put it back in from changing the u-joint. so if anyone knows what it could be or I to fix it I sure would appreciate it.
I have a 1990 351w Bronco. It keeps making this bad sound, well its actually more of a vibration when I start to acclerate. At first I thought that it was the rear u-joints going out so took the driveshaft out and had all of the ujoints changed, and while the rear driveshaft was out I had to have a way to get back and forth to work so I put it in 4x4 and sure enough whithin the four day period the rear driveshaft was out it didnt make the shuddering or the vibration when I was driving and that made me feel even more like the rear u-joint was where the problem was, well after I have the driveshaft put back in with the new u-joints It starts to vibrate again when I accelerate just like it did before.I'm really not this experinced with this part of a truck so If anyone knows whats causing this or how it can be fixed I sure would appreciate your help.and once again it a 1990 fullsize Bronco with a 351w and it has automatic locking hubs,if you need more information just ask.
thanks,
rusty
