towing

have a '91 15' cube van with a blown engine 150 miles from home. can I tow from the front with the rear tires on the ground, or do I need to lift the rear and tow it backwards? Seems like a lot of weight on the front suspension.

I think you either need to lift rear & tow 'backwards' or you can remove the driveshaft and tow with all 4 wheels on the ground.

When using a towbar to tow, make sure you leave the steering wheel loose. That way it will track without trying to keep going straight when you want to turn.
