Hey Guys,
I have a 97 F-250 7.3 where I think the instrument cluster is pooched.
Tachometer, Ammeter, Oil Pressure & Wait to Start Lite all stopped working at the same time.
Fuses are Good, so I'm thinking my Dash Cluster is packing it in.
Is there someone out there doing rebuilds or is it back to the bone yard?
Any thoughts??
I had an 03 F150 with a compass above the rear view mirror. The digital display failed and it ended up being a cold solder joint on the circuit board for the compass. I also saw multiple 97-08 F150s with a failed circuit board for the odometer. Might not be related but I figured I would mention it. Probably your best bet is to sell your Powerstroke and buy an IDI.
Hopefully a moderator moves this thread to the 94.5-97 PSD forum. Those guys might know exactly what's up.
