Well hello from beautiful (and right now wet) Southeast Texas! Been driving F150 King Ranch and Platinums since 2010 when I switched over from Chebby.... Just took delivery on my first F250, a Lariat ultimate that my dealer just happen to have from a customer who had ordered it (with all the bells and whistles) back when they were still taking orders for '23's... He finally got tired of waiting on it and told the dealership he didn't want it that he'd made another purchase... just so happens I had contacted my guy at the dealership 2 days prior. I had sent him a spec to see if he could find me a '24 F250 King Ranch with a few add-ons... Actually had reached out to 2 dealers here in SE Texas that I knew... ultimately went and looked at one that was sold just so I could sit in a 250 to see what they looked like compared to my 150... This dealer was unsuccessful finding anything (as I had expected)... We went into his office and I ordered a decked out King Ranch... he "made me a deal" and did not charge me over MSRP!!! I about choked on the price, but I need the truck, so here we went... This was last Friday. Got back home and had a call from the other dealer... He said that I know you're after a King Ranch, but I have this Lariat, and he told me all about how it was ordered, and the fact that it was silver and not that Star White that I wanted... I drove over and looked at it... made a deal and saved over $10,000.00!!! It is decked out with everything I wanted such as the FX4, all the adaptive cruise and heads up displays, power running boards, even goose neck and 5th wheel prep in the bed... Drove it home Saturday morning in a driving rainstorm! White knuckles all the way... I'm about 1 1/2 hours from this dealership... LOVE THIS TRUCK already!! Heck it even has the two tone leather, just no KR Logos... oh and no power port in the bed... sad, but those are NOT worth the 10 grand and a completely undetermined wait time on the build... I'm happy as a pig in a waller!!! In any case, I've been somewhat of a lurker on these forums for a long time since I've had occasion to peruse the forums for information helpful to me for all my 150's over the years... Seems like a great bunch of very helpful folks. I look forward to participating in the discussions.
Thanks!

Hi there! Welcome to the forum. We hope you find some really cool and useful information here.
This forum is Yuuuuge!! There are so many great thread titles! I don't know where to start!! I was able to use the spreadsheet that @ZooDad keeps up with to make some good upgrades to the options on my truck already. This '24 F250 has a lot of the options now available in the configuration settings. That I had to do with FORScan on my previous F150's...
I will be adding LED backup auxilliary lights. Also had those on my 150's, and they came on when I put the truck in reverse; but this new truck has those upgrade switches in the overhead console. My plan is to use one of those switches to power the relay for the lights so I can turn them on without having to put the truck in reverse... On my 150's, I'd use them from time to time when not actually backing up but just lighting the area better behind the truck... I'd put it in reverse, then set the parking brake... Not the safest way to operate! Now I don't have to do that!
