Reverse sensors on 2000 ex
Hello Folks !!
Very nice forum
I've just bought me a 2000 Ltd. 4X4 PSD Excursion.
It is a great vehicle, has almost everything you
can dream of!!
But my wife think it's too big to park, especially
if she have to back-up outside a shopping centre.
So, I realize reverse sensors may help alot.
Anyone who know if it's hard to "after mount"
this device?
Can I buy it from Ford and how much will it cost.??

I'd at least ask. As for cost, I'd say an arm and a leg.
There are aftermarket reverse sensing systems. A search using www.google.com will turn up more than a few. It'd be a cheaper alternative albeit not as integrated though.
You could try to locate a SD or Excursion in a junkyard (if you got them in Norway) equipped with it and "retrofit" it onto yours.
