That was true up until 2022MY. All 23/24 SRW come with 2.5" reciever regardless of pkgs. Only some DRW 350 and 450 come with a 3".

The new 2019 F 250 I bought came with the 2.5 to 2 inch reducer. But the 2020 F 250 and 2022 & 2023 F350s (all 2.5 hitch trucks) that I bought did not. Of course Ford may have a different policy on trucks that came with a 3 inch receiver.
