I have a 2000 psd 250. need information on tires. wanting to put taller tires on the truck to fill in the fender wells a bit.
I have been told that i will need to take it in and have the computer reprogrammed to make the tranny shift properly. Is this true and if I dont what could happen

The dealer will charge you around $80.00 to install the adjusted program for taller tires (It takes about 3 min to install). This will correct the speed-o, however I'm not sure the tranny shift points are adjusted.
