Looking for some clarification on this. The Ford front cover (YC3Z-6019-BA) is on back-order, apparently forever. I'm trying to understand the proper crossover from Ford to International part numbers. Ive come up with several INTL part numbers, not sure where to go.
Here is what I have found.
I have used Source One before they are a OE parts center. They show the current part number to be a super-cession from 1828177C93.
Never heard of First Truck Parts. Not sure where they got this part # from.
Then we have the Ford to INTL crossover document, the Ford callout is the 6019...
One more cross reference chart.
Any ideas?
I do plan to call my dealer and see if they will give me the INTL part number...
Your third image in your post above, which is the larger of the two snippets of spreadsheets with Navistar to Ford part number crossovers, is of the wrong page and section of that spreadsheet, and the part full numbers shown to the right of Basic 6019 are inapplicable to your Excursion. The two front timing covers listed on Page 1 of that 125 page spreadsheet are both for the OBS F-Series truck.
Instead, refer to page 41 of the same spreadsheet. There you will find another two instances of Basic 6019, where you will also find a match to the full Ford part number YC3Z-6019-BA, which crosses over to Navistar 1831737C92.

I see, I locked on to the first callout 6019 I saw, thinking it was the only one. This makes sense as I couldn't under stand the Ford service number not matching. Nor do I know the Ford prefix numbering system, I do know the Excursion, (my Excursion) is often of the Y3CZ prefix.
And yet again with the correct base and prefix, we have a new variation of the Navistar part number, of which they all seem to look the same. Searching the 1831737C92 seems futile. We do have a local International dealer I will call today. One Ford dealer I called yesterday was reading some annotation attached to the Ford part #, his interpretation was that Ford lost it's vendor for this part. If that's correct, this may be NLA through Ford.
Please post a close up photo of the International Part Number embossed in the casting of the front cover that you received from Ford, to help assure future searchers.
