The lower the better in my book. I feel like some cross-bracing should reach down to the bottom of the legs if it is going to carry that much weight and roll.
I originally ordered the 20", I didn't want my camper siting on the angle iron frame so I padded it up with 2X6's and a sheet of plywood, ended up being too high so I had to order the 15" legs.
It is very sturdy, backed it up a slight incline into the garage I'm storing it. I'm happy with the construction.
For my purposes I want to weight of the camper off the jacks so the car dolly wouldn't work and for the price of a Rieco-Titan dolly you could built a very robust wood dolly for 1/4 of the price.
Has anyone made a dolly for pushing their camper around in the garage. It would be nice to push the camper around to the back of the garage during the winter. What castors did you use? Need to support 4,000lbs.
My problem is that I can't clear the ceiling of my carport with tall rubber wheels, and short, hard casters get hung up.
