Hey people wondering if the shifter or the transmission itself is bad only sometimes it will slip out of gear like in neutral then slip back in, the shifter is very sloppy won’t go all the way down to first don’t know if it’s adjustable haven’t looked doesn’t seem to slip when burnin tires 5.8w 280k original
There are Torx screws on the steering column that back out. Look at that for the loose shifter. It sounds like the MLPS might be going bad but since the shifter is sloppy, hopefully fixing the shifter will fix your other problem.
