Here are some pics of what that flat 8 looks like, I’m going to put this on my 49 f1. Let me know what you all see or think

With what is in the pic will that bolt on to my 3speed tranny? Everything in the pics is what come with the motor except radiator.

That is an awesome looking engine.

There is nothing quite as classic looking as a Ford flathead V-8.

If that motor is being sold for around 3k as you had indicated in your other post, that would be a heck of a good deal. Can you do a compression test on it? Not sure who rebuilt this one but with those speed parts on there that's a 10k motor retail, newly rebuilt turn-key.

All it needs is a set of aftermarket aluminum finned high compression heads to complete the look, Or better still a pair of Ardun OHV heads.

Your 3 speed trans will bolt to that clutch cover. A question you might ask of the seller is if he has any info on the cam. Is it stock or aftermarket? If aftermarket, which one? Specs?
