Woke up this morning to -34⁰ and a good size puddle of what looks and smells like power steering under the driver side front of 2019 F150. Crawled underneath and can't seem to find exactly where it is coming from. It wasn't driven or started since the day before. Any ideas what this could be? I'm no mechanic and don't claim to be.

Kind of weird since the F 150 has had electronic power steering since 2011. Did you find a relic or time machine, or are you just posting in the wrong year model section?

I said that it smelled and looked like power steering fluid. I know that it's an electric system now. I was looking for a reason why something of the sort was leaking out of my pickup and any suggestions on where it may be coming from.
Fluid that smells and looks like power steering fluid is likely transmission fluid. I'd keep an eye on it, look under where parked and determine a better leaking spot and maybe we can give better guesses.
I moved to a different spot and don't see any other leaking after sitting over night. I looked more and the leak seems to originate where the steering gear is located. From further investigation I see that the gear contains fluid and somehow it has leaked out. 😳 Guess it's off to the shop we go.

Keep us posted, this is first I have ever heard of this, good info. Wishing you a small repair bill if this is the case..
