Hello all,
great forum, but I am a nubie.
I have a 99 E450 class C motorhome and change oil every 3K mi.
but I notice a dark brown "oil stain" about half way down the extended length dipstick. Is this bad? The oil looks OK otherwise.
Also the oil filter is a FL2, is a larger filter available to hold more oil?

A larger filter will hold more oil, but the purpose for it is to provide more area for the actual filtering. If you were to take the filter apart, it would have a larger filter element than say a filter from a honda.
