I am looking at a 1990 L8000 crew cab single axle. Needs cab or floor. Owner says rusted bad in floor but not finding any info of parts. Any information pointing me in the right direction would be appreciated.
Ford never made a 'factory' Louisville crew cab, though aftermarket conversions were done. Hard to say what you would be dealing with there, it's likely the front floor section is 'factory' but no telling what the rear is made up of.
Since you are still looking for a truck I moved you down to the regular section.
AFAIK based on the posts here, you would be looking for another cab via a wrecking yard or buying a donor truck.
NOS parts for these are hard to impossible to find, especially body parts. Nothing is reproduced.
If the cab floor is gone, you can bet the truck is a world of rust overall.
What engine? The Brazilian Ford 6.6/7.8L diesels are also hard to shop for.
I checked multiple sources, checked on threads here found parts sources and other places and nothing but single cabs were listed. It has a LMF07, which I know nothing about but want to learn, with automatic according to the owner. He lost interest in the truck and has it cheap and after doing research maybe that is why since there isn't any information or parts available.

I have searched multiple sources but nothing list in parts or even pictures. I thought it would make a fun little rig. And he has it cheap, now I am learning why.
I have a 92 L8000 crewcab firetruck, luckily mine is pretty rust free, floor looks new. I had the floor matting out last year to convert to air seats and the front the cab is factory, rear of the cab is pretty similar, but it's just a big flat panel with some bracing underneath. don't remember the details on the back but it would not be bad to make a new floor. mostly just flat metal with some lines in it to keep it from oilcanning. I did'nt take any pictures with the flooring out.
