Hey Guys,
Ford chat is saying my truck has been delivered to the railyard in Birmingham, Alabama. Ramp RU33. Does anyone have an inside contact at the rail facility to see if my truck is still sitting there??
Just give it time...it will show up when it shows up. My 2018 and my 2024 have both taken 6 weeks to show up from their build weeks....and I live just 6hrs from the Kentucky Truck Plant.
There is a way to track the rail car it's on. I don't have time to search for that thread right now though.
Its off the rail, supposedly sitting at the rail yard.
My truck sat in the rail yard in upstate NY for 3 weeks, it has more to do with the trucking company(at least mine did) not being able to keep up with their work load, as said, it'll get there....eventually.
Its pretty common for them to sit a rail yards 2 weeks or so once they get off the train, my '22 sat in the railyard for over 2 weeks. Even is someone had a contact at that railyard they are not going to look around 100's of trucks to see if your particular truck is still there... If your dealer gets tons of vehicles in then you wait may be shorter, if its some dealer who rarely gets deliveries or is out in the boondocks your wait will likely be longer since the truck doesn't head that way often,
